Fan Review of South Berwick Library Benefit Show on 3/5/11
Mar 09I’ve spent many hours toiling over gig journals since PJudd first went online back in ’99. I must admit, I’ve been lazy about it recently, so it’s always nice when a friend and fan is willing to do the work for you. Here’s a review of my South Berwick Library Benefit Show I did with good friends Courtney Brocks, Jesse Dold, and Eric Ott at the Spring Hill Lodge (South Berwick, ME) on Saturday, March 5, submitted by Marshall White.

May Day Six-in-Six Tour – Part II
Feb 03Last May some friends and I (Courtney Brocks, Jesse Dold, Cole Gove, and Eric Ott) completed a six-in-six tour of the Seacoast area (six shows in six hours). It was really just a proof-of-concept affair, to see if we could pull it off, and a model borrowed from Chicago’s Joe Pug. We played at four local homes and two buinesses, and I have to say, it’s one of the funnest gigs I’ve ever played.
This year we’re taking it a step further. It’ll be the same idea except we’ll be adding a yet-to-be-determined charitable benefactor to the equation. You’ll have the opportunity to sponsor one of us to folk for charity: sort of like sponsoring someone to walk or bike. The date is Saturday, May 14. We’ll start folking around 2 PM and go into the night. Please let me know if you’re interested in hosting a concert. It’s basically a 1/2 hour unplugged concert at your private residence or local business for your friends and clients in exchange for a charitable contribution. You can also sponsor a musician in lieu of hosting, and/or join the caravan. It’s a roving party! Stay tuned for details. Contact us if you’re interested in hosting, helping or sponsoring.
